Charges: Man was leaving bar when he fatally crashed into woman

DULUTH, Minn. — St. Louis County officers say a 40-year-old man was inebriated when he crashed into a lady, killing her, late Friday night time.

Michael Miller of Virginia, Minn. was charged with one felony rely of felony vehicular murder for the loss of life of Joni Dahl, 39, of Eveleth. 

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says Dahl was touring eastbound on Highway 21 when it was struck by Miller’s pickup truck that was driving westbound when he crossed the centerline of the freeway.

An officer spoke to Miller who they are saying indicated he was on his method residence from the Hideaway Bar the place he had been ingesting. Miller estimated his final drink was round 11:30 p.m. Police responded to the crash at roughly 11:32 p.m.

According to the criticism, Miller had a B.A.C. of .247 earlier than he was dropped at a hospital for therapy of his accidents.
