If you’re anything like me, then you’re always on the lookout for new and interesting ways to kill your enemies in Destiny 2. Well, today I’m here to tell you about a particularly fun way to take down those pesky Umbral Engrams – by using a Void Sling!
For those of you who don’t know, a Void Sling is a type of grenade that can be obtained from certain vendors or activities.
When thrown, it will create a small void explosion that does damage and disorients any enemies caught in it. So how do we use this to our advantage against Umbral Engrams?
The key is to wait until an Umbral Engram is about to open up and unleash its contents before throwing the Void Sling at it.
If timed correctly, the explosion will stun the engram and prevent it from opening. This gives you a few valuable seconds to either shoot it or throw another grenade at it before it can recover.
I’ve found that this method works best when there are multiple engrams close together, as they have a tendency to open up one after the other.
