Iran hopes Tajikistan eases visa requirements



TEHRAN, Iran, May 14. Iran is in search of
Tajikistan to facilitate visa issuance and lowering the formalities
on this matter, mentioned Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular,
Parliamentary, and Iranian expatriates Affairs Alireza Bigdeli,
Trend stories
citing IRNA.

The two sides mentioned facilitating tourism, industrial and
funding visas, along with increasing judicial and consulate
cooperation, supporting the rights of Iranian firms and
residents, combating human trafficking, unlawful immigration, and
combating terrorism.

Bigdeli identified that touring has resumed following the
COVID-19 peak being prior to now, and Tajikistan has resumed issuing
digital visas for Iranian residents.
