Israel has advised the United States it was liable for the killing of an Iranian Revolutionary Guards colonel final week, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

Colonel Sayyad Khodai was shot lifeless on Sunday by a gunman on the again of a bike as he sat in a automobile exterior his residence in Tehran.
