The Army, Navy and Air Force performed a joint helicopter drop train in Jammu and Kashmir at this time. The train was a drill to check behind-enemy-lines capabilities in case of an intense air defence and digital warfare.
The tri-forces train was achieved within the valley’s snow-clad area at heights over 9,000 toes.
The process pressure included troops from Army’s Infantry and The Special Forces models; and Navy’s MARCOS unit.
The train included full transportation and armed helicopters from the Indian Army and Indian Air Force, together with the Apaches assault helicopters.
The train showcased the capabilities of the Chinar Corps – Army’s unit that performed the train – in excessive altitude areas incorporating all sides of the up to date and trendy battlefield.
“The successful conduct of the mission validated the true spirit of jointness achieved in planning, utilisation of resources and accomplishment of laid down mission objectives as a true reflection of the tri-service ethos of the Indian Armed forces,” a launch from the Indian Army stated.
