Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at present mentioned he has examined optimistic for COVID-19 with gentle signs and that his journey to Delhi stands cancelled.

He mentioned he has remoted himself at house.

“I have tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms and have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in the last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested. My trip to Delhi stands cancelled,” Mr Bommai tweeted.

Mr Bommai was to journey to Delhi at present to participate in third assembly of the nationwide committee of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and NITI Aayog’s Governing Council assembly to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this night and tomorrow morning respectively.

He was additionally anticipated to satisfy BJP’s nationwide management and maintain discussions relating to latest developments within the state and preparations for 2023 meeting polls.
