Mamata Banerjee meets kin of murdered couple

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday mentioned that she was shocked on the homicide of an aged couple in Bhawanipore space of Kolkata.  The couple, of their 50s, was discovered murdered of their ground-floor residence on Harish Mukherjee Road, a stone’s throw from the residence of the Chief Minister. 

“ I am very shocked; I take this road every day. This has never happened here before. It is a very peaceful locality,” the Chief Minister mentioned. Ms. Banerjee went straight to the positioning of the crime and met the bereaved members of the family. The Chief Minister assured the household that the responsible wouldn’t be spared.  

Commissioner of Kolkata Police, Vineet Kumar Goyal, who was current with the Chief Minister mentioned acquaintances and folks recognized to the household could also be concerned within the crime. “ Hopefully, we will be able to arrest the culprits soon,” Mr. Goyal mentioned.

Job to sufferer of torture 

 In one other improvement, the Chief Minister introduced that her authorities will supply a job to Renu Khatun whose proper hand was chopped off from her wrist on Sunday by her husband.

The torture on the 23-year-old nurse from Bardhaman Purba by her husband Sariful Sheikh had shocked many.  The man has been arrested. The Chief Minister mentioned that the nurse can be provided a job that she will be able to do with ease and in addition added that the State authorities would pay her medical payments.
