An intensive seek for a lacking nine-year-old has been launched after she disappeared within the Blue Mountains.
Charlise Mutten was final seen on Thursday and was reported lacking from a property at Mt Wilson, 60km northwest of Richmond, on Friday morning.
NSW Police acquired the lacking individuals report at about 8.20am and commenced trying to find the Queensland resident.
Acting Superintendent John Nelson stated the woman was holidaying on the Mt Wilson tackle with household for the college holidays.
“It’s a traumatic experience for her family so we wanted to be clear from the information he had from them,” he stated.
“We are here to pull out every stop we can to locate her and that’s why we have all the resources and are continuing (to search).”
He stated Charlise’s mom was distressed about her daughter’s disappearance and police have been offering her with assist.
Superintendent Nelson stated it was too early to rule out suspicious exercise.
Charlise’s disappearance sparked a big scale search operation the place about 100 personnel are working to seek out her.
